Happy New Year! Our January newsletter is dedicated to the DC: 0-5 (Diagnostic Classification of Mental Health and Developmental Disorders of Infancy and Early Childhood). This tool classifies mental health and developmental disorders in children from birth through five years old, considered in relationship to their families, culture, and communities. The state of Massachusetts has been investing in bringing and implementing the DC: 0-5 across the state. With gratitude to the collective investment of MassHealth, MA Department of Public Health and Mental Health and the Boston Public Health Commission, we now have over 200 trained professionals and 9 clinicians are trainers and available to provide training across the state. In an effort towards statewide coordination and capacity building in the Early Childhood Mental Health workforce, there has been multi-agency strategic action to come together to provide access to the DC: 0-5 trainings. With that, and the sponsorship of state partners, we will be offering several virtual trainings from January to June 2021, at minimal to no cost. These trainings consist of 10 contact hours offered in blocks. If you are interested in participating, please fill out the form below and share with your contacts. Registration details to follow, once training dates are scheduled. | |
